Important Details
- Schedule a consultation call: The next step is to schedule a complimentary 20-minute consult call to talk in detail about your needs and ideas for a unique session.
- Studio: I have a home studio that I hold baby and children sessions in. You and your partner are welcome to relax and in enjoy the session.
- Communication: I strive to keep an excellent line of communication with clients, so that expectations are clear, times/date/location is set and that all your questions have been answered.
- Before the session starts we will have a quick 5 minute talk through the session.
- Newborn Session Length is 2-3 hours: This length of time gives plenty of opportunity to get the baby anything they need, a feeding, diaper change, or some snuggles all while allowing them to relax and sleep through the photos.
- Photos are delivered via digital gallery within 2 weeks of the session.
FAQ
What if the is born early? Or late?
- Your baby is unique and so will be their arrival. It is best to get your newborn session booked on the calendar so that a spot is held for you. I can easily make accommodations to move your session to the perfect time for your baby.
Will we have enough time to feed and change the baby?
- Most definitely. The best thing to do in a newborn session is relax. Babies will pick up on our tension, so the more relaxed the environment is the better they will settle. I do not rush to get through the session. We can take as much time as your baby needs to get comfortable for their photos.
Do I need to bring my own clothes, blankets or props?
- I have studio props that you as a client have access to use. If there is something special you would like to incorporate during the session, we can discuss this in our consultation call.
You have a home studio. What happens if your children are sick?
- Unfortunately, illness does happen from time to time and I will not put you or your newborn baby at risk. In the event that there is an illness at my house, I will reschedule your session to the soonest available time once everyone is well.
How long does it take for me to get my photos?
- I pride myself on a quick turn around for photo delivery and keep this a high priority for my clients. You will receive your digital gallery two weeks after your session.
What if my baby isn’t able to sit independently during their sitter session?
- I have baskets they can sit in or they can lay on their belly on a soft blanket. I also have parents sit within an arms reach of the baby as an extra safety precaution.
