Sitter Sessions
Did you know that I offer more than just newborn sessions for babies? No? Well, let me tell you about one of my favorite sessions; sitter sessions. When your baby is between six and eight months old, they’re either sitting up independently or they’re right about to. Your baby has already grown so much since birth and this session is a great way to document that growth. Think of a Sitter Session as a milestone session to capture and celebrate how much they have changed in the short time since their birth.
To get started, I have a variety of cute outfits for babies that are in the size range of a sitter session, so you don’t have to worry about finding one yourself . You pick out an outfit, get baby changed and then we put them in the first of your three background setups. In each set up I incorporate little blankets, baskets, lots of colors, and pretty textures. All of the props are simple and minimalistic to highlight your baby, because your baby is the star of the show.

Sitter Sessions are a lot of fun and interactive so your baby will be smiling and happy. We can sing songs, clap our hands or make silly noises all to get the baby to smile and engage. I keep these sessions quick moving. It’s because little babies that age don’t have a very long attention span, but also fun and engaging for them. The goal is to get a smile from every single baby, as well as getting their cute, natural, curious expressions.
With Sitter Sessions coming with three unique set ups and the baby is in each set up for about 10 minutes, 15 minutes at the max. After we’re done with one setup, you take the baby, and you give them a change into their next outfit. And then while you are getting baby ready I am setting up the next background. We do this through all three set ups giving your baby short periods of time in each set up.

Sitter Sessions are really short, sweet, but very beautiful, and it’s a perfect length of time for busy little babies. These sessions are my absolute favorite sessions to do for people.
